The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad has welcomed the Central Board of Secondary Education's move to enforce the three-language policy, describing it as a major effort to protect the country's linguistic variety. The student organization made its position known during the inaugural session of its national executive council meeting held in Bhubaneswar.

ABVP general secretary Virendra Singh Solanki stated that the policy will greatly benefit students due to the rising inter-state migration for jobs and higher education. He emphasized that knowledge of Indian languages will help shape students' futures in this changing scenario.

Solanki remarked that the CBSE's full implementation of the three-language policy is a constructive step toward Indianising education and reinforcing national unity. The ABVP believes that board examinations should also follow the three-language framework to ensure the policy's effective application.

According to Solanki, once implemented, this policy will become a milestone in strengthening Indian languages and preserving the nation's linguistic diversity. He added that the ABVP sees this initiative as a vital tool for qualitative transformation in education and for enhancing national integration.

During the three-day meeting, over 400 ABVP representatives from across the country gathered to discuss the effective execution of the National Education Policy, promotion of Indian languages, and various aspects of the three-language policy. The meeting will also consider necessary suggestions and outline a future course of action on these topics.

Another ABVP leader noted that the student leaders would deliberate on the national scenario, the education system, youth roles, national security, social and economic issues, organizational review and expansion, and contemporary challenges during the meeting.
