The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has pushed back the last date for Class 12 students to apply for answer book verification and re-evaluation. The new deadline is now June 7, giving students additional time to submit their requests.

This extension was announced after several students reported difficulties while trying to access their answer books through the CBSE online portal. Many applicants also faced problems while submitting verification and re-evaluation applications on the board's official website.

Students who wish to apply for verification of marks or re-evaluation of their Class 12 answer sheets can now do so until June 7. The earlier deadline had caused concern among students who were unable to complete the process due to technical glitches on the portal.

The verification process allows students to check whether their answer books have been evaluated correctly. Re-evaluation, on the other hand, involves a fresh assessment of the answer scripts by a different examiner.

CBSE has not yet issued a separate statement regarding the specific technical issues that were flagged. However, the board's decision to extend the deadline is expected to benefit a large number of Class 12 students who were struggling to meet the original cutoff date.

Students are advised to visit the official CBSE website to complete their applications before the new deadline of June 7. They should ensure that all required documents and fees are submitted correctly to avoid any last-minute issues.
