Central Board of Secondary Education stated that the exams scheduled for March 2 in Bahrain, Iran, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates have been deferred as a precautionary measure.

CBSE Examination Controller Sanyam Bhardwaj informed that the postponement applies only to examinations scheduled for March 2, 2026, in the affected countries.
The board cited the prevailing situation in parts of West Asia as the reason for the decision. Revised examination dates will be communicated separately.

The board will review the situation on March 3, 2026. Based on this assessment, CBSE will decide whether examinations scheduled from March 5 onwards will proceed as planned.
