The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is expected to release the exam city intimation slip for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2026 soon. Candidates awaiting the crucial document should keep a close watch on the official website, ctet.nic.in, for the latest announcements.
The exam city slip, also known as the advance intimation of examination cities, is typically released around 10 days before the examination date. This slip informs candidates about the city where their exam centre will be located, allowing them to plan their travel and accommodation in advance without last-minute hassles.
CTET 2026 Exam Date
According to the revised schedule, the 22nd edition of CTET is now set to take place on October 9, 2026. The examination was originally scheduled for September 6, 2026, but was rescheduled following a Supreme Court direction to provide eligible candidates another opportunity to register.
In compliance with the court's order, CBSE reopened the online application window from August 25 to September 1, 2026. The exam date was shifted to accommodate the increased applicant volume and ensure smooth administrative arrangements across test centres.
CTET Admit Card 2026
The CTET admit card is scheduled to be released by 5:00 PM on October 4, 2026. Candidates will be able to download their hall tickets through the official CTET portal using their login credentials.
