The Kerala government has decided to postpone the announcement of the KEAM 2026 results, citing delays in the release of CBSE Plus Two re-evaluation outcomes. The CBSE declared its re-evaluation results on Sunday night, which prompted several students and parents to request an extension of the KEAM application deadline.

According to official sources, the postponement affects thousands of candidates who had applied for the Kerala Engineering, Architecture, and Medical (KEAM) entrance examination. Many of these students were awaiting their revised CBSE marks before finalizing their KEAM applications.

The decision to delay the result was taken after considering the demands from affected students and their families. The government acknowledged that the timing of the CBSE re-evaluation results had created uncertainty for candidates who needed to update their application details.

Officials from the Kerala Commissionerate of Entrance Examinations have not yet announced a new date for the KEAM result release. They have, however, assured that the revised schedule will be communicated to candidates as soon as possible.

This is not the first time that KEAM timelines have been adjusted due to CBSE-related issues. In previous years, similar delays have occurred when CBSE results were announced later than expected, forcing state authorities to revise their schedules.

Students are advised to check the official KEAM website regularly for updates. The government has also urged candidates to ensure that their CBSE re-evaluation marks are correctly reflected in their KEAM applications once the portal reopens.
